Suriley Goel

Surily Goel is one of the newest Bollywood fashion designers in India. She has designed clothing for various Bollywood movies. Her collection has also featured in various fashion shows. Surily Goel made her debut in 2006 during Lakme Fashion Week.
This popular designer studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. After studying she started her own range of clothing under the name 'Surily'. Surily Goel started her designer career in Bollywood while styling for Preity Zinta in the movie Salaam Namastey (2005). The movie was produced by Yash Raj Films.
In her debut of Lakme Fashion Week in 2006 she brought forward her new collection named 'Roses Forever'. The collection of Surily Goel was modeled by former actress Neelam and Bollywood stars like Salman Khan and Malaika Arora Khan. She has been personally trained by designer Manish Malhotra.
Surily Goel designed for Preity Zinta again in the movie Jaan-E-Mann (2006). She has also worked for the movie Saawariya (2007) with the well known director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The 'Roses Forever' collection features 'various moods of a woman in love' from innocence, shyness, sensuousness to passion. The collection of Surily Goel feature dresses, bright colours with funky designs, skirts and stylish cut pants. Malaika Arora was wearing a long skirt with an ample slit which is known as one of her best creations. The material had a 1970's look and feel.
The theme of the Surily Goel collection was 'Romance Personified'. The theme is about a magical story of a young carefree girl falling in love and becoming a mature woman. In the Lakme Fashion Week, Neelam Kothari wore a brightly-coloured dress with specks of black, blue, yellow, and myriad of other colors.
Another collection of Surily Goel's was worn by Nina Manuel. The costume was a two-piece which had an accessory of a dressier 'big' bag overstated with roses. She also wore a shimmering jacket and a beret on her head which is also overstated with roses.
Another item was a pretty beige blouse lined with pearls. The model wore a beautiful blue and beige skirt with numerous crochet patches. She carried an umbrella made of embroidery, lace and sequins. Goel uses different types of fabrics to add the touch of innovativeness in her designs. From regular materials like silk, cotton and leather she also experiments with her designs by adding pearls and crochets to her dresses.
Surily Goel also created a stylish pant-like silhouette. There are slits which rise to the thigh. It is well complemented with a nice beige top with roses. There was another sweeping dress with shades of pink and the hem had lace trimmings. It came with pearl accessories.
